We all live in a single database

(Use the Beatles theme music for Yellow submarine)
We all live in a single database, single database single database.
We all live in a single database, single database, single database.

"Beginning January 1st, 2007, the Netherlands plans to open a single database that will track a child’s health and welfare “from cradle to grave”, according to the Washington Post."

I seen a tickler run by briefly on the news relating to a single database will contain all new babies born starting 2007. I really didn't hear anyone speak on this, rather the simple tickler.

In Oklahoma, there is a new software going out to the public schools called the WAVE. This software is basically linking the schools to one database. Each school will upload their own students information onto the database. The reason is to keep track of the kids moving from one school to the other. The Government does not want to inadvertly pay for the same child in both schools. Sounds reasonable, but just because the news only reports the Netherlands as putting each kid in a single databaase, don't think it's not happening in the United States.
